Re-Ment Power!
You’re invited to our next Re-Ment Fan Club meeting!
The event will be held on Sunday, May 2nd from 1pm to 4pm in Los Angeles. It is free.
Here's what is planned so far:
1. Collecting and Having Fun with Re-Ment. Our slide show will show how people in Japan collect and buy Re-Ment. We’ll also get a behind-the-scenes look at the Re-Ment Headquarters in Japan!
2. The Latest Re-Ment! Our friends from Sugoi Life, the US distributor of Re-Ment, will share the newest releases with us.
3. Re-Ment Collecting Guide. Thanks to our friend Renatta Rasmussen, we will have the updated Re-Ment collector’s checklist!
4. A Re-Ment Game! We will play a fun Re-Ment game and there will be prizes too!
5. Show and Tell. Bring new, unusual, limited edition or creative Re-Ment to share with the group.
6. Competition. This is for fun and for prizes! There will be two competitions so that everyone can participate!
The Small Competition is Kotatsu. Decorate a Re-Ment Kotasu. The best use of Re-Ment is the judging criteria.
The Big Competition is a Re-Ment display contest. The top prize will be a white dining room set! The theme is “Spring has Sprung!” Do your best interpretation of the theme with your Re-Ment!
The judging criteria is best use of Re-Ment to the theme.
7. Re-Ment Swaparama. We'll have a table for you to put out your duplicate Re-Ment or Re-Ment you are tired of (can that happen?). Put your name on it so people can find you and offer something to trade. Or, browse the Swaparama table and offer something to the person who has what you want!
8. Re-Ment for sale! There will be loads of Re-Ment available for sale in full sets at reasonable prices and individual boxes marked so you can know what is inside.
9. Raffle! Win a raffle prize! Every attendee will get free raffle tickets to win some unique Re-Ment related prizes.
There will be other goodies and surprises!

This is the café for the building on the first floor, in the front. There is plenty of free parking in back of the building, enter off Sunset on the driveway west of the building. The cost for the Re-Ment Fan Club meeting is free! Coffee, soda, snacks, paninis, etc. will be available for sale. We ask that you support the Café with a suggested $7 minimum purchase since the owner is making the space available to us at no cost!
RSVPs are required to attend the Re-Ment Fan Club meeting portion of the afternoon and we do usually sell out so RSVP early in order to get a space! To RSVP send your Name and e-mail address to robinfgee@yahoo.com by no later than April 25th. Space is limited and this event is not open to the public. I am an avid Re-Ment Collector who was inspired to put together a Re-Ment Fan Club so we can share our enthusiasm and affection for Re-Ment!
